You don't own a British car? Then what a great place to come and desire to become a classic British car owner or enjoy the sites, live music, food and treats. The event is open to anyone and everyone; bring the family there is something for everyone!
If I am entered in the BASH do I bring my car both days?
Yes and No: You must bring your car on Saturday to be judged. Friday nights event is a social event and driving your car is not required. On Friday night if you do bring your BASH entered car and your free pass, on the bottom of your confirmation letter, you will receive free parking and a parking space on the front lawn (limited to availability). If you drive any other car, than your BASH entered car, Friday night you can still use your free parking pass, though you will park in general parking behind the main building. Enter via Frankfort Ave.
Where is the cruise and where does it start on Friday?
The "Cruise" for Friday is a cruise to St. Joe's. Drive your car from Historic Bowman Field Airport to St. Joe's for a fun social evening. All of the cars will gather at St. Joe's for music, food and more. This event is open to everyone in the BASH and the general public as well. If you are pre-registered (before April 20) use your free parking pass to enter free (see above).
Where is the cruise and where does it end on Saturday?
Yes! Bring the car you wish to enter, arrive between 9 a.m. and 12 noon. Prior to coming to expedite your entry Download and print an entry form (see above) and fill it out in advance. We do have them on the field too. Enter via Frankfort Ave, tell the parking attendants you wish to enter your car and also tell them which class you are in (see above). You will be directed to your class row. Park your car in the class row where you are guided to, come to the registration booth (gazebo) and pay your fee and pick up your windshield card for voting. Come early as entry is subject to availability in the class row. If the class row is filled entry is not guaranteed.
Do I need to be a club member to enter?
No! Anyone with a British car may enter.
What time will the awards be given out?
The voting ends at 3 p.m., the awards will be given out after the votes have been counted. We estimate at or before 4 p.m.
Can I leave before the show ends?
Yes; however we ask that you do not leave before 3 p.m. as voting is taking place. If you win an award you will have to pick it up at ...... There will be no notice mailed, you will have to call to inquire if you won as awards will be distributed and notice given at the show only.
Can I arrive late for the show Saturday?
Yes, though if you are not preregistered we cannot enter you after 12 noon (Subject to space available). Also if you arrive after 12 noon you will also miss the voting as well. So we advise you arrive before 12 noon at the latest.
What time is the show Saturday?
Registration runs between 9 a.m. and 12 noon. The voting for the show starts at 12 noon, voting stops at 3 p.m. Awards will start at or prior to 4 p.m.
What time is the event on Friday?
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. You are not required to drive you car Friday night though for those pre-registered see above...
How many awards will be given?
We will give out awards for up to 40% of the cars entered.
What happens if it rains?
To quote PT Barnum "the show must go on". We will be there rain or shine. Plus this is the Ohio Valley one minute it is raining the next the sun is shinning.
How much is it to attend if I do not bring a car or I am not part of the show?
Entry (admission) is free. To park at St. Joe's it is $5 each day. Parking benefits St. Joe's.
